Awqaf Ministry pays special care to mosques - official |

KUWAIT, April 20 (KUNA) -- Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr. Adel Al-Falah said the ministry attaches much attention to mosques nationwide.
Al-Falah said in a speech at the opening of Essa Abdullah Al-Othman Mosque yesterday at the Al-Khalidiya area, that it is the second largest mosque in Kuwait, which can receive as many as 2,000 worshippers, noting that the new holy building is of modern Islamic style.
The ministry spares no efforts to highlight the correct image of Islam, expressing gratitude for Essa Abdullah Al-Othman for his continued support for charitable work, he added. - Kuna
