Airlines to resume Europe flights Thursday, says Kuwait civil aviation official |

KUWAIT, April 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwait said on Wednesday that airlines can fly to Europe again starting Thursday.
Essam Al-Zamel, head of operations at the civil aviation authority, told KUNA that the Kuwait Airways flight to London is due to take off at 1400 local time (1100 GMT) today, while the first British Airways flight from London is due to touch down 0630 local time (0330 GMT) on Thursday. All flights to most European destinations were cancelled due to the Icelandic volcanic ash cloud. - Kuna
