KUWAIT, May 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Ports Authority announced that navigation was suspended in its ports on Monday because of the dust and low visibility sweeping the country.
The Director of Marine Operations Department in Shuwaikh Port Slaiman Al-Yahya said that navigation was suspended as a safety measure, as visibility sank below half a kilometer. Three ships are docked in Shuwaikh port's waiting area, waiting for entry till weather improves. Another two ships are in Shuaiba Port, one at the waiting area, and the other preparing to sail back. - Kuna
