Marriage, birth papers for sons of nationals wed to illegal female |

KUWAIT, May 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait agreed on Monday to issue birth and marriage certificates for children of nationals married to illegal female residents.
Minister of Interior retired Lt. Gen. Sheikh Jaber Khaled Al-Sabah told KUNA
that the cabinet okayed a recommendation to this effect presented by the ministerial committee assigned to resolve the legal status of this group.
The minister said, after the weekly meeting last night, that the cabinet agreed to use the term "non-Kuwaiti" in birth and marriage certificates to indicate the nationality of the mothers of this group. - Kuna
