KUWAIT, June 8 (KUNA) -- The Syndicate of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Employees on Tuesday said the pay increases approved by the Civil Service Commission recently for KUNA employees would help boost productivity and performance level in all departments.
A syndicate press statement said allowances and pay increases most often encourage employees to hike their productivity and inspires a desire for development, and this helps such prestigious state body as KUNA realize its media and overall objectives. The increase, to be seen in June bank balance sheets, came after much diligent effort by the KUNA management, led by Board Chairman and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Sabah and cooperation with the syndicate to justify the need for pay hike. The syndicate pledged to continue to cooperate with management for the interest of both the institution and employees.
