Maximum temperature over 53 in Kuwaiti desert, around 50 in Kuwait City |

KUWAIT, June 15 (KUNA) -- Maximum temperature recorded in the Kuwaiti desert was over 53 degrees, registered in Mtarba area in the northwest at 12 at noon, while the figure was above 50 degrees in Kuwait City on Tuesday.
The Civil Aviation's website weather data showed highest temperatures in Al-Jahra, Abdeli, and Wafra areas with low humidity. The data meanwhile showed decrease in maximum temperatures recorded in the southern islands of Qarooh and Um Al-Maradem, due to hike in relative humidity. Kuwait and the region are experiencing a heat wave of temperatures between 40 and 50 degrees centigrade, according to meteorology and weather centers. - Kuna
