MoI stresses finding solutions to traffic jams |

KUWAIT, June 20 (KUNA) -- It is necessary to continue seeking solutions to reduce traffic jams resulting from the gridlock, undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General.
Ahmad Abdullatif Al-Rujaib said here Sunday, hailing the efforts made by other state sectors to support the security apparatus in resolving the crisis. Al-Rujaib made this remark during the second meeting of the Supreme Council for Traffic that mulled future projects on road network for addressing traffic jams emanating from bumper-to-bumper traffic. Further, dirctor general of Kuwait Municipality Ahmad Al-Sobaih and some specialists put forward during the meeting an overall presentation for the projects of developing future roads network till 2030 and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works Abdulaziz Al-Kulaib made a presentation of the future projects that would be carried out by the his ministry. Finally, the participants unanimously agreed that this problem is only related to traffic, but it is also a social one in terms of the number of vehicles, licenses, roads and the cultural level of motorists. - Kuna
