Fire department records 170 violations in Jeleib Al-Shiyoukh |

KUWAIT, June 23 (KUNA) -- Inspection and follow-up administration at the General fire Department registered 170 violations against commercial and investment buildings in Jeleib Al-Shiyoukh area, it was announced here on Wednesday.
Director of Public Relations at the department Lieutenant Colonel Khalil Al-Amir said that the department carried an inspection campaign to insure the implementation of safety measurements at buildings.
He called on nationals and expatriates to have their electrical networks checked and keep all inflammatory objects away from fire sources, adding that the department was well prepared for summer season where fire injuries are most common.
Around 400 violations were reported during the inspection campaigns launched earlier this year. - Kuna
