KUWAIT: Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Minister of State for Development Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Sheikh Ahmad Fahad presented here yesterday efforts to provide fast-track services to the public.
At a weekly cabinet meeting held at Bayan Palace, presided over by Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Sabah, Sheikh Ahmad Fahad also briefed the cabinet on efforts to put fresh e-messaging and bilateral visual systems in place, Minister of St ate for Cabinet Affairs Roudhan Al-Roudhan told reporters following the meeting. The fresh systems come within the framework of Kuwait's national development plan, including revamping public services, augmenting the performance of different state agencies and providing fast-track services to the public by using high technology, he said. At the onset of the meeting, the ministers were informed of a recent letter to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah from former US President Bill Clinton on humanitarian efforts by Clinton Foundation, he said. During the meeting, the ministers also listened to explanation from Chairman of the Governmental Performance Follow-up Apparatus Sheikh Mohammad Mubarak Al-Sabah and Director General of the Central Agency for Information Technology Ali Al-Shereda on executive procedures for carrying out the e-messaging and bilateral visual systems.
