MoI intensifies security in malls, Gulf Road |

KUWAIT, July 17 (KUNA) -- Security personnel during the weekend are to increase their presence in various Kuwaiti hotspots, including the Gulf Road and Marina Mall for stricter security measures during the bustling summer period, the Ministry of Interior said Saturday.
The MoI said in a statement that the coastal area from Souq Sharq to the Green Island has been split into several security regions, in order for security personnel to conduct further control over crowded areas and offenders.
The move is in implementation of MoI instructions during the summer holiday period.
Other areas including residential roads and highways, the desert, chalet areas and border exits are also part of the intensified security campaign. - Kuna
