Medical copter to transport road accident victims, wounded in remote border areas |

KUWAIT, Aug 4 (KUNA) -- The Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that it had agreed with the Interior Ministry to allocate a medical helicopter to transport road accident victims and wounded in remote border areas to hospitals for treatment.
Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Technical Affairs Dr. Khalid Al Sahlawi told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the Ministry of Health will equip the helicopter, belonging to the Ministry of the Interior with the latest equipment and trained crews, praising at the same time the cooperation of the Ministry of Interior and its constant desire to facilitate the tasks of medical emergency personnel. Al-Sahlawi added that the next phase will see a widespread expansion of ambulance centers in different areas and highways within the ministry's plans to develop the health sector in the country. - Kuna
