Kuwait Red Crescent: Two Kuwaiti airplanes dispatched to Pakistan with relief supply |

KUWAIT, Aug 29 (KUNA) -- Two Kuwaiti airplanes loaded with humanitarian aid took off on Sunday from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base heading to Pakistan for distribution among flood victims in Pakistan.
Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Director Barjas Al-Barjas said in a press release that the humanitarian aid included medicine, blankets, tents, and a variety of food supplies. He added that other planes will be disptached within the coming days. The planes would deliver relief supplies to the affected people. The move followed orders of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to stand with the people of Pakistan. Al-Barjas added that the KRCS's teams (in Pakistan) will supervise in the distribution of the aid in coordination with the National Disaster Management Authority. - Kuna
