KUWAIT, Aug 30 (KUNA) -- Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr. Motlaq Al Qaraoi praised on Monday arrangements and procedures made at the Grand Mosque at the first night of the last ten days of Ramadan.
Al Qaraoi told reporters that the Grand Mosque is a civilized facade of the country which presents the religious and cultural values, hailing the efforts of volunteers in this respect. Al Qaraoi expressed his thanks to the participating parties in the organization and arrangements at the mosque, including NBK, NBB, and Babtain library for opening their own parking lots in front of crowds of worshipers. For his part, coordinator of emergency in the mosque, Abdulaziz Buhaimed said that the mosque is equipped with four clinics for men and women, adding that the number of such clinics would increase with the rise in the number of worshipers. Buhaimed called on worshipers to cooperate with the medical staff, and to avoid sitting in the aisles to avoid disabling the emergency service. "We also recommended sick worshipers to identify their disease and bring their medicines along with them in case of an emergency", he added.- Kuna
