Commerce minister inaugurates 35th Int''l book exhibition |

KUWAIT, Oct 13 (KUNA) -- Minister of Commerce and Industry Ahmad Rashed Al-Haroun inaugurated on Wednesday the 35th International Book Exhibition on behalf of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The exhibition includes participation from 23 Arab and foreign countries and 500 publishing houses.
Al-Haroun expressed in the opening statement the country's keenness to hold such fairs annually due to their effects and inspiration to various entities in society.
The minister said he was pleased to tour the exhibition and witness at first hand the numerous varieties of literature, noting that such wide participation by publishing houses was another sign of admiration to this year book exhibition. -Kuna
