Pakistan hails Kuwait''s aid to flood victims |

ISLAMABAD, Oct 13 (KUNA) -- Pakistan's Health Minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin praised on Wednesday efforts exerted by Kuwait in ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to Pakistan's victims of the recent floods.
The minister made his remarks in a press statement after meeting with Kuwait's Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Enezi who was accompanied by a delegation of Kuwait Red Crescent Society. Shahabuddin asserted Kuwait's lead and initiative and its swift response to calls made by the Pakistani Government. "Such stance by Kuwait reflected the unconditional and unequivocal support for the victims and showed a high responsibility for aiding the people in Pakistan," Shahabuddin said. The minister expressed gratitude as well for efforts exerted by the Kuwaiti government and the society through the aid teams, who played a vital role in helping victims of the floods. - Kuna
