SARAJEVO, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Foundation of Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain Prize for Poetic Creativity organizes a cultural event in Sarajevo on October 19-21
, an event expected to gather around 500 Arab, Muslim and foreign intellectuals.
Chairman of Board of the Foundation, Abdulaziz Al-Babtain, told KUNA soon after arrival in the Bosnian capital Sunday that the "Sarajevo event will be distinguished and will be about cultural and civilizations' solidarity and co-existence." Selecting Sarajevo, he explained, was in appreciation of the city's historic role in civilized and multi-faceted cultural solidarity, citing that Sarajevo was composed of Islamic and Christian cultures.
The event is patronized by the Chairman of the Bosnian Presidency Council Haris Siladjzic which will be an added value for the dialogue between civilizations, said Al-Babtain.
Two books of Al-Babtain poems will be published in Bosnian language during the event. - Kuna
