Kuwait celebrates Arab Child Day |

KUWAIT, Oct 19 (KUNA) -- The Women and Child Department of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor organized on Tuesday the "Means of protecting children from domestic violence"
symposium.
The symposium was addressed by Moza Al-Jenai from the Child Department on the ocassion of the Arab Child Day.
In a statement released by the ministry, that within the framework of the Kuwaiti government's action plan is to raise the awareness of culture and protection of children from violence as well as exploitation, therefore, they will implement a program to educate supervisors and parents of the children.
Al-Jenai explained in her lecture the methods to identify cases of violence which may be "unknown" for the parents or those dealing with children along with a full explanation on ways to protect those children from violence. - Kuna
