'Jobs 2010' to be held next week |

KUWAIT: The Seventh Employment Opportunities Forum (Jobs 2010) will be held between October 24th and 26th at Arraya Hall.
This was announced in a press conference yesterday. Khamis Al-Ajmi, MGRP PR and Media Director Vision Group CEO, Abdulaziz Al-Qassar and HR Officers of the participating companies addressed the public. They stressed that the new session of the Forum is a continuation of the success of the previous fairs that were organized by MGRP over the last six years, in pursuit of tangible results in terms of national manpower recruitment. The Vision Group CEO Khamis Al-Ajmi, said that important national companies and representatives of Human Resources divisions have taken part in this event. Job seekers who attend the Forum come across vacancies that are available in the market. Students usually attend every year with the aim of being acquainted with the companies' requirements in order to match academic qualifications. This Forum is well-known for being dedicated to Kuwaiti nationals only. The Vision Group and its partners have been keen to transform this event from a fair into a rally that specializes in all recruitment fields, and therefore, attempt to solve the problem of unemployment through a program full of workshops and symposiums. This event, in addition, to the main fair will be an example to follow. This year, the Forum will be prove itself to be exceptional by providing many supporting factors for recruitment using free of charge tests with instant results in English and IQ levels to job seekers. Abdulaziz Al-Qassar, MGRP PR and Media Director stated that all segments of the society have become widely interested in the private sector, considering workers' many successful experiences in this sector. Career fairs support the development process in the country and increase the involvement of male and female Kuwaiti youth in all work fields in the private sector. Al-Qassar stressed the fact that the forum is now, more than ever, viewed as an effective communication channel made available to job seekers who wish to experience a variety of companies. This fair targets supplying the national economy with youthful and energetic nationals thereby creating positive levels of interaction with the economic variables and Kuwaitization of the maximum number of jobs as possible. He added that the participation of the Manpower and Government Restructuring Plant (MGRP) in the Seventh Employment Opportunities Forum 'Jobs 2010' aims to provide more job opportunities for female and male Kuwaiti youth at private sector institutions.
