KAC: Plane en route to Dhaka returned to airport due to smoke alert |

KUWAIT, Nov 11 (KUNA) -- A Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC) flight which was en route to Dhaka, Bangladesh last night returned to Kuwait international airport
after smoke was detected in the navigation cabin of the aircraft. Public Relations and Media head at KAC Adel Boursli told the press that the Airbus A-300 which took off at 10:46 p.m. had to return to the airport due to the malfunction, adding that the emergency unit was present at the plane's landing location. He added that the passengers were evacuated from the plane with some individuals taken to Farwaniya hospital to receive treatment. An investigation would be launched to look into the cause of the smoke, affirmed the official, adding that KAC would handle the situation with transparency and responsibility.- Kuna
