KUWAIT CITY, March 18: Kuwait International Airport is facilitating the departure procedures of residence law violators wanting to leave the country by air
, reports Al-Hurriya daily. Director of Passports Department at the airport Colonel Bandar Hakim Al-Thufairi said HH the Amir’s decision to grant amnesty to residence law violators and allow them to leave the country without paying fines or correct their status by paying fines is a humanitarian decision.
He said residence law violators who lost their passports and have been issued travel documents by their countries’ embassies have to visit Immigration Department in their area, update their data and get a number that will be used for registration in the computers before departure. He called on all residence law violators to take advantage of the Amiri amnesty before the June 30th deadline.
