Passenger traffic at Kuwait International Airport increased six percent last March compared with last year
, translating to 677,055 passengers, the general directorate of civil aviation noted in a press statement today.
Arrivals in that month last year totaled more than 342,000, and departures more than 334,000, said the statement, adding that flights into and out of the airport in March exceeded seven thousand.
As for airport cargo shipping in that month, it was over 17.8 thousand tons, of which 12.4 thousand tons were incoming and 5.4 thousand tons were outgoing, said the statement. - Kuna
