KUWAIT, April 18 (KUNA) -- An air depression will affect weather in the country as of next Wednesday in what boosts the chances of scattered and thunder rainfall
, said Monday Mohammad Karam, Director of the Weather Forecast Department of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation. Karam, made clear in a statement to KUNA, that the air depression will be centered over northwestern of Kuwait, then some of thermal lows start to separate from this air depression, and proceed toward the country in what causes a state of unstable weather now and then. Karam added that it is expected for southeasterly wind to dominate the country weather as of Wednesday daytime at a moderate speed with clouds starting to gather in what boosts the chances of scattered and sometimes thunder rainfall. During the periods of clouds gathering, the wind starts to be active with higher movement of sea tide, noting that, "such weather is open to all kinds of turbulences including kicking up dust, and sometimes low visibility." Finally, Karam expected that the effect of this air depression will last till next Thursday and till the weekend holiday, namely next Friday and Saturday, though level of turbulences will differ from one day to another.- Kuna
