KUWAIT, April 20 (KUNA) -- The general electronic and field censuses of the country's population, buildings and institutions for 2011 will start on Thursday
, Kuwait's Central Statistical Office (CSO) announced here on Wednesday.
In a press release, the office called on all citizens and expatriate residents in Kuwait to cooperate with its workers for the success of this national project.
The electronic census covering 352,000 registered people will start on tomorrow and last until May 5 while the field census will start concurrently and last till May 31.
The building and institution census will last until June 6, CSO noted.
The statement highlighted the importance of the censuses in the enforcement of the country's ambitious development plan.- Kuna
