Expatriates are urged to abide by laws concerning any type of gatherings or rallies and those violating the law would have to answer to the authorities, said the Ministry of Interior on Sunday.
The Ministry said in a press release that punishment includes imprisonment for two years and a KD 2,000 fine or any of the mentioned sentences, affirming that such procedures would be governed by the relevant Geneva convention within the diplomatic domain. The Ministry reiterated that such steps were to ensure the safety of expatriates in the country, stressing that the law was above all. - Kuwait times
