Firefighters control fire at factory in Sabhan, no injuries reported |

Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) managed to control a blaze that erupted, early Wednesday, in a factory in southern Sabhan area, no injuries were reported.
KFSD's report over the incident pointed out that "a phone call was received at the fire department's operations center notifying them of a fire break out at a 1000-sqaure-meter carpentry works factory that consisted of two stories and a basement." "Teams from Sabhan and Mubarak Al-Khabeer fire departments for hazardous materials were dispatched to the incident site to put out the fire, which consisted of burning tinner, paints and woods," the report noted. KFSD appealed to all factory owners to follow all precautionary and safety procedures to prevent the occurance of similar accidents in the future. - Kuna
