Limited fire at Boubyan Bank office brought under control |

A limited fire was put out shortly after it broke out at a Boubyan Bank office in Al-Mubarakiya neighborhood, downtown Kuwait City,
Thursday evening. The accident took place at the bank office at the tenth floor of the Mubarak Tower, shortly after the "iftar" time (Muslims' evening breakfast), general manager of the bank's administration group Waleed Khalid Al-Yaqout told KUNA. "The fire virtually left not material damage thanks to the timely activation of the safety systems at the site by the security personnel," he said. "For precaution in such cases, we had to summon the firefighters and policemen to verify the safety of the site," Al-Yaqout said, thanking the security personnel, the firefighters and policemen for their quick response. - Kuna
