DGCA: Kuwait Int''l Airport witnessed steady passenger traffic last July |

KUWAIT, Aug 16 (KUNA) -- Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said on Tuesday that the Kuwait International Airport has seen steady movement in passenger traffic during the month of July compared with the same month last year.
DGCA said in a statement that the total number of passengers during July amounted to over 911,000 compared to a little less than that in July 2010, while the total number of arriving passengers amounted to 461,000 last July against 414,000 in July 2010. The number of departing passengers was about 450,000 during the month of July compared to 497,000 passengers in July 2010, it said, pointing out that the total aircraft flights that were run to and from Kuwait during July amounted to 7,048 flights, compared with 8,052 flights in the same period in 2010. It said that the number of commercial flights arriving and departing to and from Kuwait during July amounted to 6,500 compared with 7,400 flights in July 2010. - Kuna
