KUWAIT, Sept 6 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of the Interior is in full swing ahead of the start of the new school year.
The ministry is implementing a security and traffic plan that aims to provide comprehensive coverage of security and traffic and facilitate traffic movement in various areas of Kuwait provided the commitment and cooperation of drivers, pedestrians and students with the law and ethics of the traffic. This came in a press statement by Director of Public Relations and Moral Guidance and acting Director of Security Media Department in the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Adel al-Hashash, who stressed that the ministry is ready for the new school year and took all the preparations and security measures through the ministry's various sectors and other competent authorities in the state. He added that the overall security and traffic plan aims to provide security coverage and traffic safety and facilitate traffic in all areas of the six governorates, noting that the start of the school year casts further burdens and responsibilities on the security services and traffic department, which requires special preparations and the cooperation of everyone. He stressed that there is coordination around the clock between all sectors of the Ministry of the Interior with jurisdiction to ensure the success of this security plan, which includes a database with complete information on the number of schools at all levels and the names of principals, school staff and their phone numbers. - Kuna
