Kuwait Education Ministry to improve education quality |

Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Ahmad Al-Mulaifi affirmed that the ministry has a clear strategy to improve the level and quality of education in Kuwait
, warning that delays in the implementation of education programs and the introduction of advanced e-learning system is not in the interest of future generations. During the inaugration of the 2nd Conference and Exhibition for Education Technology, Al-Mulaifi said in his speech, that the ministry has to work more in order to catch up with the developed world where the educational process is very rapid. Minister Al-Mulaifi said that the Ministry of Education launched several years ago a program to develop education through the introduction of a number of technologically advanced tools that will allow students to use technology in the education process. He stressed that the result of such programs is the graduation of students that are proficient with technology in various aspects of his life. The e-learning program of the ministry, which consists of several different projects, is one of the most developed programs in the Gulf region, with the testimony of major companies and international bodies, he said. He also stressed that the ministry works to implement the various stages: some of which have been completed, others under construction and some will be put up soon. On his part, the Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Information in the Ministry of Education and head of the conference Dr. Khaled Al-Rashed said the conference coincided with the launch of the ambitious development plan adopted by the government, where the ministry is implementing in different educational sectors. Al-Rashed renewed the ministry's call to all leading companies specialized in the construction and equipping of educational facilities participating in the conference, to recognize the importance of involving the private sector companies and give them the opportunity to highlight their ability and capacity to contribute to the implementation of future projects that would be offered by educational institutions of government. During the conference, Al-Mulaifi launched a national project to raise awareness, information and education of e-Learning, which aims to raise awareness in the society in all its elements and enlightened the importance of the introduction of Information and Communication Technology in the development of the educational process.
