Firefighters managed to control a fire that broke out at a farm in Abdali area on Thursday, and contained it after having spread to four chalets, and set ablaze a car, a truck and a bulldozer.
Acting Director of Public Relations and Media at Kuwait Fire Service Directorate, Lt. Col. Mohammad Al-Bannai, told KUNA that firefighting teams managed to minimize losses from the rapidly-spreading fire. He said that one farm worker was injured and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. An investigation into the matter was launched, he concluded.
