The Ministry of Interior on Tuesday urged citizens to cooperate with the ministry with respect to abidance by laws governing safety of state properties and facilities.
The MoI affirmed in a statement its responsibility of maintaining security and order of the homeland and urged the citizens to cooperate with it and the other authorities for implementing relevant laws. It expressed strong confidence that all citizens would cooperate for sake of serving security of the homeland and the natives.
Earlier Tuesday, the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Suliman Fahad Al-Fahad, declared an instruction stipulating that the police personnel would be clad in black uniforms during the winter, effective November 20.
Black was chosen for the personnel winter uniforms because this dark color is suitable for the cold season, said Colonel Adel Al-Hashash, in charge of the ministry public relations in a statement.
