Kuwait Fund signs deal to build schools in Gaza |

Kuwait: The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) has signed an agreement with the UN relief agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA to build five schools in Gaza for a total cost of $9.55m, Kuna has reported. One of the funded schools will offer a state-of-the-art environmentally-friendly building, designed by Italian architectural firm Mario Cucinella, KFAED said. UNRWA is currently providing education to 218,000 displaced children, across 243 schools in Gaza. [AMEInfo.com]
