Ministry of Information stays at the same distance from all newspapers, TV channels and other media organizations, the Ministry asserted in a press statement Sunday.
The Ministry also urged all media organizations to abide by laws regulating their work.
It unveiled that an auditor was appointed to examine the financial records of all media organizations to make sure they do not violate laws.
Most newspapers and TV channels have abided by the law and allowed the auditor to examine their financial records, the ministry said, regretting that some have not cooperated with the auditor which forced the ministry to take legal actions against them.
