MoI enforces ban on auto stickers touting election candidates |

The Ministry of Interior issued an order to violate vehicles with stickers of election candidates and their ads.
Ministry of Interior Deputy Undersecretary for Traffic Department Major General Dr. Mustafa Al-Zaabi said in a statement released here Saturday, this operation comes in implementation of the administrative memo on the application and controls of election campaigns as to not violate the regulations and laws.
Al-Zaabi who is also incharge of the security commission of supply and preparation for the 2012 parliamentary elections, hoped the cooperation of vehicles' owners to avoid campaigning through pictures and posters of candidates on their cars in order to preserve the general appearance as it is in contrary to traffic laws and conditions of security.
