The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MSAL), in collaboration with  the Interior Ministry plans to issue entry visas to Bangladeshi laborers , subject to certain regulations. Sources added that the decision was taken in view of the growing demand for Bangladeshi workers by farm and ranch owners. Furthermore, sources stressed that visas would be issued to only farmers and shepherds, and would not be transferred to other sponsors. A worker will be allowed a maximum of three-year residence permit with a total number 5,000 workers.
