Kuwaiti Medical Association condemned the attack against one of the doctors in Mubarak Al-Kabir hospital yesterday
, calling on officials in the Ministries of Health and the Interior to deal with the matter with the appropriate seriousness to protect members of the medical team.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the association Dr. Ali Al-Mukaimi said in a press statement that it appeals to the community that expressing dissatisfaction is not through violence or abuse to a public servant, especially as the humanitarian services provided by doctors are dealing with life and human suffering.
He also called on members of the parliament to quickly pass the immunity law for medical doctors to protect them from any attacks so they can work in a normal and safe atmosphere.
