Kuwait Towers evacuated as smoke emanates |

Firefighters belonging to Al-Hilali and the Captial city departments rushed to the Three Kuwait Towers on Friday as smoke was seen emanating from one of them
, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) said.
"The firefighters asked the administrators of the towers to evacuate all personnel and visitors from the Kuwait's most famous landmarks," Nabil Al-Hussainan told KUNA.
"They are dealing with the accident which is unlikely to be serious," he said noting that the smoke was emanating in moderate density.
"KFSD asked the emergency teams of the electricity department to cut off the power supplies to the facilities to allow firefighters deal smoothly with the situation.
"Other concerned services were asked to be on the alert to offer help if need be," Al-Hussainan added.
The causes of the accident are yet to be specified.
