Kuwait to issue student guidebook on health concepts |

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health said on Wednesday it was compiling a guidebook for schoolchildren in all the six GCC member countries on health concepts.
The guidebook, which is mainly intended to help students have better health behaviors, is part of a relevant UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) initiative and GCC health ministers' decrees, assistant undersecretary of the ministry of health for public health Yussef al-Nesf told reporters.
The document contains significant information on public health that may help prevent a possible outbreak of infections, he said.
He hailed the book as primarily aiming to boost students' health knowledge and as a useful reference for families on how to protect human health and prevent diseases.
The 130-page book consists of eight chapters covering key aspects for better health for schoolchildren, the official added.
