The Council of Ministers has reportedly approved the construction of two multipurpose recreational halls and has already selected the locations for them.
One of the new facilities will be near the main Jahra Road, while the second will be in the Oyoun area. The hall in Jahra will be named in honor of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Oyoun one in honor of the entire Al-Sabah family. The construction will be carried out under the supervision of the Amiri Diwan. Dr Fadhil Safar, the Minister of Public Works and State Minister for Municipal Affairs, has already submitted the ministerial council's documents related to the issue to the Director General in order to prepare the necessary reports on the two sites for the Municipal Council as soon as possible.
