Eight world-renowned physicians to visit Kuwait in Oct -- MoH |

Kuwait's Health Ministry said Saturday that it invited eight world-renowned consultants in various medical specializations to visit Kuwait in October.
The aim of the planned visits is to draw their experience in improving the health services and building the capacity of the local medical cadres, Director of the Ministry's Public Relations Division Faisal Al-Dosary told reporters here.
"The consultants specialized in surgery, ENT, cancer, pediatrics, and hereditary and genetic diseases," he disclosed.
"During their stay here, the physicians will conduct a number of delicate surgeries, train local doctors and deliver scientific lectures," Al-Dosary pointed out.
He highlighted the importance of the previous visits to Kuwait by foreign consultants in exchanging the experiences and updating the local cadres on the latest medical achievements.
