Companies, banks show readiness to employ dismissed employees |

The secretary general of the program for restructuring the labor force and the state executive system, Fawzi Al-Majdali, praised on Sunday readiness of some private companies to hire laid-off employees.
Al-Majdali said in a press release that the department tasked with the re-hiring of the axed staff has been promoting jobs for the dismissed staff according to each former employee's experience. Many of the national corporations and institutions have been responsive, showing readiness to re-hire the dismissed staff, he said, indicating that lists of the names of the unemployed were sent to supportive companies to choose those who could be re-hired. Al-Wataniya Co for communications declared certain job vacancies, Al-Majdali said, adding that the program team had received a list of the former employees who could serve at the travel and tourism agencies. He also indicated at desire by some teaching faculties and banks to employ the jobless, noting the number of the former employees stood at 630.
