Petrochemical Co. affirms keenness on encouraging nationals occupy senior posts |

EQUATE Petrochemical Company is persistently seeking to enhance skills of Kuwaiti personnel to prepare them serve in senior posts, the company affirmed on Monday.
EQUATE said in a press release, issued on the occasion of appointing Mohammed Al-Benali as its Vice President for Technical Services, that this purpose is being sought through a two-year program including intensive training. Al-Benali himself had been through this process till he was promoted to this senior post, succeeding Mahmoud Al-Gattan, who had contributed to the establishment of the infrastructure of the company since its founding in 1995. Considered one of the worlds leading companies in producing Polyethylene and Ethylene Glycol, EQUATE was established in 1995. It presently runs a joint venture between Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC), The Dow Chemical Company, Boubyan Petrochemicals Company and Qurain Petrochemical Industries Company. The company that commenced production in 1997 currently provides markets in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe with high quality petrochemical products.
