Kuwait's Al Soor Fuel Marketing Company said here Tuesday it had launched a fresh blueprint to overhaul all its gas stations nationwide, using modern world systems.
The revamp plan includes the changing of all the company's filling stations in form and content, Soor Managing Director Ahmad Taqi told a news conference. The company is going to use a new symbol at all its gas stations as of November, referring its development efforts to provide high-quality services to consumers, he said. As per the five-year development plan, which costs an estimated total of KD 5.7 million, the new services include filling pumps, car wash and overhaul and restaurants, he added. Furthermore, the company is currently negotiating with a foreign company to add primary materials to its fuel in order to improve vehicle efficiency and protect cars from damage, Taqi said. Four out of the company's fuel stations are to be revamped by the end of this year, he said, vowing to keep the stations open during the development process as much as possible. Al Soor was founded in November 2005 with a capital of KD 30 million. It was registered with the Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) in June 2006.
