The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has singed a loan agreement with Commercial Facilities Company (CFC)
whereby the latter gets a KD 30 million loan for a period of four years to finance company projects, it was announced here on Saturday. The loan is in keeping with NBK's expansion of operations aimed at pushing ahead the local economy by funding domestic companies to carry out their business goals unhindered by financial constraints, said NBK deputy CEO Shaikha al-Bahar, in statements to the press. CFC board chairman and managing director Abdullah al-Hemaidhi, speaking on the occasion of the signing, said that the company and NBK go back at least 30 years of a productively close relationship, noting that the loan amount would be used to finance the company's consumer loan operations.
