Fatalities of August fire increase to 55 |

The fatalities of the Jahra wedding fire had increased to 55 after an individual succumed to injuries, suffered during the incident, said an official on Sunday.
In a statement to the national news agency, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Interior Ministry's spokesman Colonel Mohammad Al-Sabr expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the recenly deceaded.
There were around 80 people injured in the fire, which occured on August 15 this year. They were mostly women and children.
The fiery blaze had gutted a wedding tent, packed with women and children, in the district of Al-Jahraa, north of the capital.
