Kuwait facilitates departure of Indonesian labor |

Kuwait, with the help of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), has facilitated the departure of Indonesian laborers
to their country after cooperating with the Indonesian embassy, said an official Sunday. Foreign Ministry official Ambassador Humoud Al-Rawdan told KUNA that Kuwait was very sympathetic with the situation of the Indonesian workers in Kuwait who were stranded in the Indonesian embassy for sometime, adding that Kuwait had provided a private plane for the labor in order for them to return to their country. On her part, IOM official Iman Erekat lauded the Kuwaiti steps concerning this humanitarian issue and stressed that Kuwait had dealt with it with total transparency and honesty. Around 347 Indonesians were allowed to return to their country. - Kuna
