Kuwaiti official lauds role of Egyptian expats in development |

Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Mohammad Al-Kandari praised here on Thursday the role of the Egyptian expatriate workers in realizing the development targets of Kuwait.
"The friendly ties between the State of Kuwait and Egypt in all domains stood the test of time and two countries proved to be all-weather friends," Al-Kandari told KUNA. He made the remarks while receiving Egypt's new Consul General in Kuwait Salah Al-Wesimi. Al-Kandari wished Al-Wesimi success in serving the interests of his compatriots and contributing to the close ties between the two Arab nations. "Egypt Embassy plays an important role in solving the problems of the Egyptian workers in Kuwait in collaboration with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor," he pointed out. On his part, Al-Wesimi voiced gratitude to Kuwait for its hospitality which encouraged growing numbers of Egyptian workers to work here. He thanked the leaders of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor on top of who are Minister Mohammad Mohsen Al-Afasi and Undersecretary Al-Kandari for their efforts to iron out any problems for Egyptian expatriate workers. The meeting was also attended by labor attach of Egypt Embassy.
