The Municipality plans to take serious steps to eliminate all violations that threaten the health and safety of citizens and expats
, asserted Director of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality Shrayadah Al-Mutairi. He said the branch's emergency team has destroyed 13,800 CDs that were confiscated during inspection campaigns that were held during the past three months. In a statement that was issued recently, authorities from the Municipality stated that they would nab offenders. The campaign was headed by Mishal Aba Al-Safi. He also urged citizens and expats to refrain from dealing with wandering hawkers who display their goods on the road side, thereby endangering the lives of motorists and road users. - Kuwait Times
