The Parliamentary Human Rights Committee has urged the Ministry of Interior to a three-month grace period to illegal residents
who face deportation, said MP Adnan Abdul Samad, reported Annahar. Furthermore, Abdul Samad argued that such expatriates had residency visas sponsored by non-existent companies and that they should be given a chance to transfer residence permits with firms that are legal. He also asserted that all concerned expatriates should file complaints with the committee and that their complaints be taken into full consideration. - Kuwait Times
