Zain records more than 42,000,000 text messages during Eid Al-Adha |

Kuwait Zain Telecom said on Tuesday the company recorded more than 42 million text messages in Kuwait during Eid Al-Adha
, a 40 percent increase compared to the same period of last year.
Zain Kuwait CEO Khaled Al-Hajri added in a press statement that in the Arafat standing day, more than 17 million SMSs were sent, in addition 12 million during the first day of Eid Al-Adha.
Al-Hajri noted the video, photos, music SMS reached half million messages, a global record.
Photo messages, during the Arafat standing day, reached 283,000, and the day before, the number of photo and video messages amounted to 230,000. - Kuna
